It is our goal that each customer is satisfied with the records they receive from us, and so we package our records well, and photograph each one as it goes into the box. In the event that a customer feels it is necessary to return a record for refund or exchange, we decide on the appropriate action on a case by case basis.

In the event that a box arrives and is showing exterior damage, please photograph the box before opening it. The photos would need to clearly show the damage to the box, and the fact that the box has not been opened.

In the event that the packaging on a record within the box is damaged, please photograph the record before removing the shrink wrap. If the exterior of the box is undamaged, and the record inside the package is damaged, we will compare the photographs to the photo we took of the item prior to shipping.

If Canada Post is responsible for the damage to the item, we will open a claim with them, and issue a return shipping label. Upon receipt of the returned package, we will send out a new copy, or, if we don't have another copy in stock, a gift card for the amount of the record. We will comply with Canada Post policy, and if they require the package to do an investigation, we will advise next steps.

If there was no damage to the box, and we have a photo of an undamaged record going into the box, we must conclude that the damage occurred in some other way for which we cannot take responsibility.

Every situation is considered on a case by case basis with the goal of a satisfied customer as the outcome of the process. That said, if someone has ordered from us multiple times, expect benefit of doubt that we could not possibly extend to someone who is seeking to return their first order.

If for any reason a customer would like to return an item to us, please let us know within 7 business days of receipt. We will authorize return of the item, with the customer paying shipping. We will issue a return label with a tracking number so that delivery to us is verifiable. Upon receipt of an undamaged record, still in its shrink wrap, we will issue a refund for the amount of the record minus the cost of return shipping.
