Billy Corgan apparently has 21 songs ready for a new Smashing Pumpkins album

In an interview with Nashville's 102.9 The Buzz, Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan revealed that the band's next record is "currently 21 songs in length", and that he has been working on it for over a year. Further describing the project, he said "It's pretty different — in a good way, I think. Everybody that's heard it likes it a lot, so that's a good sign."
 The Smashing Pumpkins' last album - Shiny and Oh So Bright Vol.1/LP No Past. No Future. No Sun. was released in 2018.
