Neil Young to release long lost 'Homegrown' album in 2020

Canadian treasure Neil Young has announced that shelved album Homegrown will be given an analog remaster and released via his Archives project in 2020. Originally intended for release in 1975, it was put aside in favor of the brooding, death obsessed Tonight's The Night. Regarding the project, Young had the following to say:

Homegrown will be our first release in 2020, sounding great in vinyl—as it was meant to be.. Made in the mid-nineteen seventies! ......A record full of love lost and explorations. A record that has been hidden for decades. Too personal and revealing to expose in the freshness of those times.

The unheard bridge between ‘Harvest’ and ‘Comes a Time,’ ‘Homegrown’ is coming to NYA first in 2020!

An official release date has yet to be announced.
