Paul McCartney's children's book to become Netflix movie
Paul McCartney's children's book High in the Clouds is being adapted into a full length animated feature and will be streamed via Netflix. The soundtrack will be written, performed and produced by McCartney, amongst others. A press release describes the plot of the film:
"An imaginative teenage squirrel named Wirral finds himself pulled into a ramshackle gang of teenage rebels who live high in the clouds after he accidentally antagonizes Gretsch the owl, the tyrannical leader (and fabulous singer!), who steals the voice of anyone who upstages her."
A release date for the film has yet to be confirmed.
