Pixies Announce Live Box Set

Legendary indie rock quartet Pixies have announced an expansive live box set - Live In Brixton - will be released on January 28th. The collection will span four sold out reunion shows at Brixton Academy from 2004, and will be available in both CD and vinyl versions. The set will also include a 24 page booklet of photographs and artwork, and a fold out poster.
Guitarist Joey Santiago had the following to say regarding the run of shows:  “It was an amazing reception, I guess they had missed us over all those years. I particularly remember getting word that the balcony was swaying, and seeing that the crowd didn’t want to leave long after we had finished the show.”
