Prince's Estate Announces 'Prince and the Revolution: Live' Deluxe Vinyl

Prince and the Revolution: Live, which was captured in 1985 during the legendary Purple Rain tour, will be given a deluxe vinyl release.
The performance originally took place on March 30th in Syracuse, New York and was broadcasted via satellite, as well as released as a concert film.
In a press release, the Revolution's BrownMark shared “Listening back to that Syracuse show, I’m like, ‘Wow, we sound like a freight train just coming out of nowhere. That was powerful. I’ve been to a lot of concerts, and I’ve never seen anything like that.”
The 3xLP set will be released on June 3rd. A collector's edition, which will include the remixed and remastered audio pressed onto three colored LPs, the CD edition, the Blu-ray video, a 44-page book filled with never-before-seen photos of the Purple Rain tour, new liner notes, and more will also be available.
