The Rolling Stones Announce Live Album of Legendary 1977 El Mocambo Show

In 1977 The Rolling Stones (under the moniker the Cockroaches) played a secret set at Toronto's 300 capacity El Mocambo opening for Canadian rockers April Wine. While the legendary set was recorded, only four tracks have been released in any official capacity. The band has now announced that an official record of the entire performance will be released on May 13th via Universal Music.
It will be available in 2 CD or 4 LP black and neon formats, and will include the full March 5th 1977 set, as well as four bonus tracks from the previous night.
Two recordings - 'It's Only Rock n' Roll' and 'Rip This Joint' are now available to stream on Spotify.
