Wilco Announce New Album, Share Song

Wilco have announced that their new record Cruel Country will arrive on May 27th via dBpm.
As has been their style since 2007's Sky Blue Sky, the record was almost entirely composed of live off the floor takes, and recorded at their studio in Chicago.
Apparently, it follows a loose narrative about the history of the United States, and finds the group embracing their country roots. In a statement, singer/songwriter Jeff Tweedy shared:  “We’ve never been particularly comfortable with accepting that definition, the idea that I was making country music. But now, having been around the block a few times, we’re finding it exhilarating to free ourselves within the form, and embrace the simple limitation of calling the music we’re making country.”
Additionally, the band has shared the first offering from the record, 'Falling Apart (Right Now)', as well as the full track list - both of which you can check out below.
